How To Throw A Stargazer Party

Fall is a great time to throw an outdoor stargazing party. Gather up your warmest blankets, light the campfire, and get ready to celebrate under the stars.

Guests will love being greeted with this directional sign that shows them where all the festivities will take place.

A stargazer party requires a dessert table filled with lots of stars! To create this look, first I covered the wall with blue stardust paper. It comes in large rolls and instantly makes a dramatic backdrop. I also found lots of great star decorations for the table, such as these metal star centerpieces, hanging silver stars, and star milky way garland.  This clear silver star plastic tablecloth looks great thrown over any plain colored tablecloth.

Constellation cookies by School House Bakery helped guide guests to the dessert table. Can you name all these constellations?!! (I might need some help from Google to get them all right).

S'more cupcakes are so easy to make. Just add pieces of graham crackers and chocolate to store bought cupcakes.

Favors are always one of my favorite party details. Friends and guests love leaving with a little something to remember the party, such as these personalized chocolate bars, star mint tins, and personalized lollipops.

The mylar star and crescent moon balloons make a huge statement being three feet tall!

I set up an area outside around the stargazer tent for the kids to hang out and eat s'mores. They loved having their own little spot to play while the adults sat around the campfire.

Aren't these "S'mores Under The  Stars" placemats just the cutest paired with some "Star Grazing" chocolate bars?!!  Happy stargazing everyone!
